Proximity
Being here, in the heart of Neta, so families don't have to make long and costly journeys.
About us
The Famgo-Neta Private Health Center was born from a simple idea: every family in Neta and the surrounding villages should be able to get care close to home, with dignity, at any hour.
In 1997, André Touka Yakam founded the health center in Neta, near Bangangté. His goal: to bring quality health care closer to rural communities, who too often had to travel long distances for treatment, and to serve the community every day.
Over many years of hard work and service, he built a center known and respected throughout the region. In recognition of his work and achievements, the Cameroonian government awarded him the Medal of Honour for Labour (Médaille d'honneur du travail).
André Touka Yakam passed away in 2016. His wife and sons then took over the mission and continue to serve the community with the same energy and passion as the founder.
